People, we are witnessing the collapse of the United States of America.
Consider this: Back when ol whats his name (dick-tator) of Germany thought his country men had a superior product, only to have Jesse Owens come in and win 4 medals.
Whats his name thought, like we Americans think: We just show up and then hand us the Championship.
At least Germany did win the overall medal count that year.
The same is not so for USA baseball, being eleminated today by mexico. It sux! I hate this crap!
Anyways, the rest is history as far as how Germany fared---they friggin collasped. Had other powers in their country calling shots.
Is this our destiny? to collapse and have other m'fers in our house shot callin? Am I reading too much into this mere lost of a friggin baseball game?! Hmmmmmm.... I dunno. What do you think?

Thu, March 16, 2006 - 9:55 PMWe all came from somewhere. Jesse Owens' was of African heritage. Most of our great baseball players today actually come from Latin America. Look at the rosters and yoll'll find that the top two or three guys on every team are Latinos.
It's all good. We are just one big melting pot. Even though they're from somewhere else, where do they all want to be? Right here! -

Yes -for most of them it's about the american dream and gaining mass quantities of cash but for others just watching the game makes them feel all american. Baseball will always have american roots. I certainly support anyone who wants to celebrate baseball play the game and adds to our our economy........
